Rhino is the manually operated magnetic lifting device used in FEDA hybrid openers. It requires no power or maintenance, and guarantees consistent performance, rapid intervention and absolute reliability over time. It uses neodymium energy and is activated by simply operating a lever that reverses polarity and attracts only the manhole cover to be lifted with its magnetic flux.
During the magnetic pick-up phase, the lever is firmly locked by a safety device that prevents any accidental deactivation.
The possibility of checking the activation status means that the capacities of the magnet are preserved for a long time, guaranteeing the absence of dispersion and the possibility of operating it without risk.
Conventional magnets or magnetic compositions exhaust their force more quickly and, as they do not have a deactivation command, can cause serious damage during manoeuvres. The Rhino Slim and Rhino Ultra 300 models are equipped with an attachment for the Magnetic series of openers.
